Joe at the Berlinale 2008

Berlinale 2008 sounds very good to us, so we decided to take the chance given by the Hessen Academy of Film and Media (HFMA) to include our movie into a roll together with other hessian student short films. This is the first year of a screening at the European Film Market by the HFMA and the roll is also going to be shown at selected cinemas in Hessen. We will trace that for you! You can find more information in the following statements below:

"The Hessen Academy of Film and Media and Film- und Kinobüro Hessen are proud to present you with an insight into the affluent filmmaking at our universities. This year we have selected a 60-minute programme from 300 submitted minutes of film. HESSEN SHORTS, Part 1 demons- trates the stylistic and technical diversity of films produced in 2008 by young talented people in Kassel, Offenbach, Darmstadt and Wiesbaden, ranging from cartoons and 3-D animations to live-action films and hybrid combinations. This is the bandwidth that the State of Hesse will keep counting on in the future!"

"… to the very first presentation of short films from Hessian universities at the European Film Market 2009! The manifold opportunities of studying film in Hesse are structured decentrally. The Hessen Film and Media Academy was founded in October 2007 as a net-working initiative by the federal state of Hesse. Key-issues are cooperation, promotion of quality standards and practical orientation. Its motto is: „Better Never Stops“. So shall it be, and I wish you great pleasure in watching the films."
